Honeywardrobe helps J-fashion lovers around the world discover original-design pieces from independent Taobao brands.
From Jirai Kei and Ryousangata to Tenshi Kaiwai and other subculture styles, many of the brands we work with mainly sell through Chinese platforms, which can make overseas shopping difficult.
Honeywardrobe officially launched in September 2023 to make that experience easier — backed by a team with more than a decade of cross-border shopping experience.
Not Everything Makes It to Honeywardrobe
There are thousands of fashion products on Taobao. We don’t put all of them on Honeywardrobe.
Our team has its own standards when choosing brands and products. We look at originality, style, design, overall quality, and whether we genuinely feel a product is worth bringing to our customers.
Before a product goes live, we also review important details such as fabric, size charts, fit and design information.
These may sound like small things, but we know they are not small when you are the person receiving the item.
Our selection also continues after a product is listed. Warehouse inspections and customer feedback help us decide what to keep, what to improve and sometimes what to stop carrying.
What we carry today is shaped by what we learned yesterday.

Our Experience Started Long Before Honeywardrobe
2012 — Our Cross-Border Journey Began
Our team started by helping international customers purchase products from China.
Over the years, we built hands-on experience with payments, product inspections, warehouse handling, packing, global shipping, customs questions and after-sales support.
2023 — Honeywardrobe Launched
We brought those years of experience into a store focused on original-design J-fashion.
The products changed. The styles changed. But the way we think about serving customers did not.
From Our Warehouse to Your Door
There is a lot happening behind the scenes after you place an order.
Because we work with independent brands rather than holding every item ourselves, stock can change quickly. Our team regularly checks and updates stock information between Taobao brands and our store, but occasionally an item may sell out before the latest update reaches us.
When that happens, we’ll let you know and work through the available options with you.
Once products arrive at our warehouse, they are checked before being packed and prepared for international shipping.
We know cross-border shopping will never be completely predictable. What we can control is how carefully we handle your order, how clearly we communicate, and how we respond when something doesn’t go as expected.
You should never feel that once you have paid, you are on your own.
